Maui Crime, Nov. 29–Dec. 5: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 20 burglaries, seven vehicle thefts, and 15 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Nov. 29 to Dec. 5, 2015.

Of the seven vehicle thefts, three vehicles have since been recovered.  The greatest number of incidents was in Kahului where three reports were made.

Burglary incidents were down from the 29 incidents reported the week before. The greatest number of burglaries reported were in Wailuku where five incidents were reported over seven days.

Vehicle break-ins dropped off to 15 for the week, down from 17 the week before.  The greatest number was in Kahului where five incidents were reported.

Kahului:
