The University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team will play an intrasquad scrimmage on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Seabury Hall’s Erdman Athletic Center in Olinda.

A youth clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 29, also at Erdman Athletic Center.

The scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will only be available at the door, starting at 4:30 p.m. — admission is $7 for adults and $5 for youths and seniors, with children under 7 years old free.

Autographs and photo opportunities will follow the event.

The clinic, scheduled for 6-8 p.m., is for youths 16 and under, and no more than 60 participants will be accepted.

UHMVBLogo400x400A signed waiver will be required.

For more information on the clinic, call Desi Omura at 298-7981.

The Rainbow Warriors are ranked seventh in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason rankings, and had three players named preseason All-Americans on Friday — outside hitter Sinisa Zarkovic and libero Kolby Kanetake were first-team picks, and setter Jennings Franciskovic made the second team.

The UH roster also includes freshman outside hitter Colton Cowell, a graduate of King Kekaulike High School.
