Maui Surf Forecast
North: Shoulder/head high to overhead surf is expected today. The best breaks could get up to a few feet overhead on the sets.
West: Wrap from a northwest swell will bring knee/waist/chest high surf to West Maui spots that have northern exposure. Out of the southwest knee/waist high waves expected from Pali.
South: Wave heights are knee/waist high today out of the southwest thanks to Pali.
Our current northwest swell will continue a slow fading trend. A new northwest swell is expected to move in late Thursday maintaining wave heights around a few feet overhead at the best breaks.
Trade swell is expected to remain pretty small at waist high or less.
Swell from tropical system Pali is expected to slowly continue fading through the week.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
