Kamehameha Schools Maui Places 2nd in National Competition

The Kamehameha Schools Maui Cheer team placed second overall at the National Cheer Association’s 2016 Senior and Junior High School Nations competition held in Dallas, TX over the weekend.

KSM of Pukalani, Maui finished with a final score of 96.16, just 0.29 behind first place Earl Warren out of San Antonio, TX.  Third place was New Albany High School out of Indiana.

Final Overall Results after Day 2 of competition:
1. 96.39 Earl Warren: San Antonio, TX
2. 96.16 KSM: Pukalani, HI
3. 92.76 New Albany HS: New Albany, IN

Day 1 Results:
1. KSM 2nd , Small Advanced Co-Ed HS
2. Mililand 13th, Medium Intermediate HS
3. Radford 5th, Small Advanced HS
