Repairs Underway: Broken Main Lines on Lahainaluna Road

The Maui Department of Water Supply is working to repair multiple broken main lines on Lahainaluna Road, from Kuialua Street and above, from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 10:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016.

Water department officials say customers in the area may experience low water pressure and are asked to conserve water and avoid any unnecessary water use during this time. Customers may also wish to store water in preparation for this time period. Traffic will be impacted for motorists traveling in the area as well. Motorists are asked to drive with caution.

A water wagon will be provided in the vicinity of the intersection of Lahainaluna Road and Kuialua Street.

Department representatives say they regret any inconvenience the work may cause.
