Hi Mayor,

Q: What happened to the committee formed to look into Roads in Limbo?  Roads in Limbo are those roads given by the state of Hawai‘i to Maui County, but not accepted by Maui County.

A: I checked with our Public Works Department; the committee completed its recommendations to the State Legislature a few years ago. However, the recommended changes to the Hawai‘i Revised Statutes have not yet been adopted by the Legislature.
