Kukui Hele Po MarchThe Maui Historical Society’s E Ho‘oulu ‘Ike: Cultural Enrichment Workshops program continues with its Kalai Pohaku: Kukui Hele Po Stone Carving workshop on Monday, March 14, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hale Ho‘ike‘ike (Bailey House Museum) in Wailuku.

Master Carver and Hawaiian Traditionalist Hoaka Delos Reyes will present a selection of his art and working implements and create kukui hele po—traditional Hawaiian stone lamps.

Maile Delos Reyes will have Iced Mamaki Lemongrass Tea and `Ulu Kalo Cornbeef Burgers for sale during the lunch hours to benefit the historical society.

The workshop is free; no registration is necessary.

The activity is also free of charge until supplies run out.

Ohana Delos Reyes, the Maui Historical Society and the Hawaii Tourism Authority are sponsoring this workshop.

The Maui Historical Society and Bailey House Museum are located 2375A Main St., Wailuku.
