Application Deadline Extended for Maui Boards and Commissions
The application deadline for Maui’s various boards and commissions has been extended to next week Friday, January 14, 2011. Applications are available for more than 30 boards, councils, commissions and committees.
Positions will be appointed by newly inaugurated Mayor Alan Arakawa and are subject to County Council confirmation. Service is voluntary and includes review of policies, hearing public testimony, and making recommendations. Terms range from two to five years, depending on the terms set by each individual body.
