Interruption in Water Service in East Maui

Due to a pump failure, residents and businesses in the Hāna and Koali areas of East Maui are experiencing an interruption in water service.
The Department of Water Supply is working on repairing the pump, and anticipate that water service should be restored at approximately 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, March 31, 2016.
A source of water is available for customers in the affected areas. Customers may contact the Department at (808) 248-8455 to arrange for the provision of water.

Department officials say they regret any inconvenience this may cause.
Customers can also call the 24-hour service line at (808) 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
