UHMC to Hold ABIT Open House, April 21

The public is invited to learn about the University of Hawai‘i Maui College’s Applied Business and Information Technology (ABIT) bachelor’s degree program at an open house event on Thursday, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., Ka‘a‘ike Building, Room 218.

ABIT offers a unique, hybrid degree that emphasizes business, entrepreneurship and technology skills.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet 2015 graduate Michelle Heller, who turned her Capstone (final) project into her own business—Da Kine Paints in Kahului;

Event participants will also be able to see current students’ final projects, meet the faculty members, the program counselor and community leaders who make up the advisory team.

Financial aid counceling will also be available, with one full tuition merit scholarship for ABIT available at the event.
