Kaiser Permanente Maui Adds Three New Physicians

Seven new care providers have joined Kaiser Permanente, including three on Maui—Dr. Cyril Dalmon at Wailuku Medical Office and Drs. Joy Dalmon and Yuka Yonebayashi at Maui Lani Medical Office—and four on O‘ahu.

The physicians join more than 600 doctors and healthcare providers within the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, the state’s largest medical group, which provides comprehensive care to 245,000-plus members in the state.

Cyril Dalmon, MD, joins the ophthalmology department at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency and cornea and external disease fellowship.

Prior to moving to Hawaii, Dr. Dalmon served as a physician and surgeon in the ophthalmology department in Kaiser Permanente’s Northwest region. Dr. Dalmon is board certified in ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Joy Dalmon, MD, joins the pediatrics department at Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani Medical Office. She received her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Dalmon is board certified in pediatrics.

Yuka Yonebayashi, MD, joins the internal medicine department at Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani Medical Office. Dr. Yonebayashi received her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. She comes to Hawai‘i from the Northern California Permanente Medical Group, where she practiced for 15 years. Dr. Yonebayashi is board certified in internal medicine.

O‘ahu

Michael Ching, MD, MPH, joins the developmental behavioral pediatrics department at Kaiser Permanente Mapunapuna Medical Office. He received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and his master of public health from the UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Ching completed his residency in pediatrics, community health and advocacy at the Mattel Children’s Hospital through UCLA, and completed fellowships in developmental behavioral pediatrics as well as leadership education in neurodevelopmental and related disabilities at Children’s Hospital Boston in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Ching comes to Kaiser Permanente from Tripler Army Medical Center, where he served most recently as interim chief in the neurodevelopmental pediatrics clinic. He is board certified in pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics.

Chanisha Martin, MD, practices hospital medicine at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Martin completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. She is board certified in internal medicine.

Seema Misra, MD, specializes in emergency medicine at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed her residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Misra is board certified in emergency medicine.

Kevin Murphy, DPM, joins the podiatry department at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Midwestern University School of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Murphy completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at St. Vincent Hospital. He is board eligible in podiatric surgery.
