The MIL high school paddling regatta scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, January 15, 2011, has been moved to Kahului Harbor.

The event was originally scheduled at Ka Lae Pohaku park in Kihei, but brown water conditions and shoreline debris from the recent storm prompted the change in venue, according to MIL Paddling Race Director, Mahina Martin.

More than 400 high school paddlers from across Maui County are expected to participate in the event.  Start time is 10:30 a.m.
