Mayor,
Q: What’s up with the new Mokulele Highway speed trap? Why is the speed limit on Mokulele Highway now 35 mph in certain areas?
A: This is not a speed trap, according to the Hawai‘i State Department of Transportation. This is a temporary speed limit change while HDOT continues its road improvement project on Mokulele.
