Maui Police Matters Focus of Mayor’s TV Show

Tonight’s edition of the Mayor’s television show entitled “Your County with Mayor Arakawa,” will feature Maui Police Chief Tivoli Faaumu and MPD Public Information Officer Lieutenant Gregg Okamoto.

The show will discuss police recruitment and other police related matters.

The department just added 13 new officers and three dispatchers to the force in July.

The show will air at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3 on Akaku Channel 55. It will be rebroadcast on the following Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 7 a.m. and on Sundays at 8 a.m. on the same channel.
