Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be around waist/shoulder high today.
West: Surf is ankle/knee high today.
South: Surf is around knee/waist high today.
Only trace amounts of swell for the weekend out of the south. Chances are looking good that a swell will line up starting Tuesday, peaking Wednesday and Thursday.
Tropical system Conson (east of Mariana Islands) isn’t looking like a wave maker for us. Models are showing activity in the West Pacific so there is potential for swell energy out of that region in the future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
