Home burglary, Lahaina. File image/graphics: Maui Now

A Lahaina woman was treated for injuries sustained in a struggle with burglars who broke into her home on Monday night, Sept. 5, 2016 at around 9:53 p.m.

Maui police say two males broke into the home and assaulted the woman who was described as a 65-year-old resident.

Police say the woman sustained serious injuries during the struggle.
