Plan Your Route: Maui Road Closures Through Sept. 23

The state Department of Transportation will be conducting a number of road projects on Maui during the period ending Friday, Sept. 23, 2016.

Department officials say lane closure scheduled may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

HAʻIKŪ

Hāna Highway: (Weekend/Night Work) 24/7 lane closure on Hāna Highway in the vicinity of Mile Marker 13, on Friday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 23, for slope stabilization work. Traffic will be contra-flowed through the open lane.

Hāna Highway: (Weekend/Night WorkLeft lane closure on Hāna Highway in the eastbound direction between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keʻanae Road on Friday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 23, over a 24-hour period, for roadway improvements.

KAHULUI

Kūihelani Highway: (Weekend/Night WorkRight lane closure on Kūihelani Highway in the northbound direction between Honoapiʻilani Highway and Puʻunēnē Avenue on Friday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 23, over a 24-hour period, for paving work.

Kaʻahumanu Avenue: (Weekend/Night WorkLane closure on Kaʻahumanu Avenue in the westbound direction between Wharf Street and Kahului Beach Road on Friday night, Sept. 16, through Saturday morning, Sept. 17, and Monday night, Sept. 19, through Friday morning, Sept. 23, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for utility installations.
