Worldly Wine Dinner at Three’s Bar & Grill
Three’s Bar & Grill in Kīhei will partner with Wailea Wine on Thursday, Oct. 20, featuring Dave Phinney’s Locations wine paired with a diverse, global tasting menu.
The dinner runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Three’s on South Kīhei Road, where guests can taste 11 wines from nine different regions, and sample fare from seven parts of the world and U.S.

Spanish Passed Tapas
-fried white anchovies + romesco sauce
-crispy fingerling papas bravas + smoked lemon aioli
-olive oil toast + local tomato + Serrano ham + aged balsamic
Italy
Whole leg of lamb, braised in red wine, currants, cherries, tomato and green olives + pickled fennel and pistachio salad + grilled natural sourdough bread
Spain
Paella — saffron rice, chorizo, chicken, clams, mussels, Kauai prawns, local peas, spicy sofrito
Argentina
Braised venison and piquillo pepper jam empanadas + chimichurri yogurt sauce
France
Mochiko Duck Breast + maple roasted Oko’a Farms root vegetables and green apples + pineapple-raspberry chutney
California
Local fruit + artisan cheese + cured meats + honey comb
Washington
Cedar plank medley of mushrooms + potato gnocchi + toasted caraway + frisée and local radish salad, lemon-truffle vinaigrette
Portugal
House fried malasadas, li hing mui sugar
Three’s Beverage Director Glenn Morrin describes the event as “great wine with awesome regional fare. This will be special!”
