Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be overhead with the best exposures up to double overhead today. By end of day as new north-northwest energy builds, some spots could get up to triple overhead again.
West: Surf is waist high today or less. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is waist high today or less.
Our current north-northwest swell is easing a bit Friday but another north-northwest is building. This will maintain wave heights at the better breaks of North Maui. The swell will ease Sunday and into early next week. Another couple swells are expected for next week, will keep an eye on it.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
