South: Surf is basically flat today.

screen-shot-2016-11-20-at-6-32-28-pmA modest north-northeast and a small northwest swell are expected to fill in today. Overlapping northwest swells are expected for next week and through the end of the month. The Big Island will be heavily shadowed from these swells.

Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC this week. A small southwest swell is expected for the 23rd to the 25th with ankle/knee high waves. A little bit bigger swell is expected for the 27th to around the 29th.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
