ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

North: Waist/shoulder high or more surf is expected today. The best breaks could get up to head high on the sets.

West: Surf is knee/waist high today with the best exposures getting up to tummy/chest high out of the south-southwest. Northwest Maui will be a bit bigger but not as big as direct exposures. Spots shadowed from the swells will be smaller.

South: Surf is knee/waist high today or more.

screen-shot-2016-11-27-at-6-57-27-pmOverlapping northwest swells are expected Monday through Thursday. A solid northwest is expected for December 2, building Thursday night.

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

New south-southwest swell expected to peak Monday and Tuesday with waist to chest high sets at the best breaks. Swell energy starts to fade Wednesday.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
