Police Investigation: Unauthorized Entry into Vehicle, Laptop Stolen
The Maui Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a vehicle and/or it’s owner that was involved in an Unauthorized Entry into Motor Vehicle incident, which is being investigated by police.
According to department reports, two unknown individuals unlawfully entered a vehicle which was parked unattended within the dirt parking lot of Home Maid Bakery located at 1005 Lower Main Street in Wailuku at around 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016. Police say items valued at $593 were removed from the vehicle, including a laptop computer.
A video surveillance camera captured the two offenders within a black Ford Ranger extended-cab pick-up parked next to the complainant’s vehicle, police said.
