Made in Maui County Festival: Top 20 Vendors
A list of the top 20 Made in Maui County Festival product vendors in regards to their sales was released today.
The 3rd Annual event was held on Nov. 5 and 6, 2016 and drew an estimated 11,000 residents and visitors to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center where over 140 small business vendors and entrepreneurs showcased their locally made products.
In order to participate, vendors had to meet several criteria. They had to have their business based in Maui County. All products offered for sale had to be made, manufactured, grown and/or created in Maui County, although products were allowed to include source materials made/found in the State of Hawai‘i. Other judging criteria included branding, packaging, website/online presence, and an interest in and readiness to export.
The top sales reported at the event came from the following vedors: Maui Crisps; Kanemitsu Bakery (Molokaʻi); Te Hotu Mana Creations; Kealopiko Inc. (Molokaʻi); Nā Koa Brand; Paradise Now; A Maui Day Original Handbags; S. Reeve Designs, Inc.; Palapala Designs; HI Spice LLC; Lako Kula Designs; Yasha; Liquid Sunshine Jewelry; Treehouse Designs; Kanilehua Enterprises; Maui Island Love; ʻOpihi Maui; The Hawaiʻi Fudge Company; Hanu Hawaiʻi LLC; and MyLei (Molokaʻi).
