Thousands of Hawaiʻi teachers and their supporters will march from the Neal Blaisdell Center to the Hawaiʻi State Capitol in support of the Hawaiʻi State Teachers Association’s efforts to secure a new contract.

The HSTA is asking for a contract that attracts and retains teachers as well as a constitutional amendment to improve funding for the Hawaiʻi school system.

The march begins at 10 a.m. and continues on to the State capitol rotunda where chants and speeches are planned.
