Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel Hosts Girl’s Day Brunch
Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel celebrates all girls with a special brunch celebration on Sunday, March 5, at the award-winning Tiki Terrace restaurant.
Girl’s Day, or Hinamatsuri in Japan, takes place every March 3, and is celebrated by many families here in Hawai‘i.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature live Hawaiian entertainment, Japanese crafts, Maui Taiko drums, a Japanese calligrapher, Kimono dress up by Maui Minyo Kai, photo taking in a Kimono, a celebration brunch and more!
The Girl’s Day brunch will feature local favorites like Ahi shoyu poke, Lomi Lomi salmon and a spicy tuna, furikake and tobiko salad. The fresh salad bar will offer soba noodle salad, California crab and avocado salad, namasu and shredded duck, avocado and frisée salad.
Diners can head over to the cold seafood bar and enjoy oysters on the half shell and cold crab legs or head to the Action Station which will have kiawe slow-roasted prime rib, char siu glaze tender pork loin, omelets made to order and more.
Save room for the entrées, which include saimin noodle soup, wok fried Mahi Mahi, Miso Yaki salmon, vegetarian red curry stir-fry with gobo fishcake, sautéed clams with mitzuna leaves in a dashi broth, grilled huli huli chicken, beef broccoli with black pepper sauce and slow roasted shoyu pork.
There will also be a keiki station, specialty desserts and much more!
The Girl’s Day Brunch will take place on March 5 at the Tiki Terrace from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and reservations are encouraged. Tickets are $44.95 for adults, $23 for children ages six to 12, and free for children five and under with a paying adult.
