Today the World Surf League Men’s Pipe Pro Junior has been called on in clean three to five foot waves and offshore winds. A new WNW swell has materialized into firing conditions, with wave faces in the six to eight foot range with some ten-footers on the sets. There are barrels to be had, and the world’s best juniors are on fire.

Maui’s Cody Young is on a tear, and now he’s into the semifinals after jetting home from Australia. He will face another Maui boy, Ocean Macedo of Lahaina, in that heat. A champion will be crowned by 3 p.m. today, and the Women’s contest is set to begin tomorrow morning.
