Maui Crime, March 19–25: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 8 burglaries, 16 vehicle thefts and 11 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from March 19 – 25, 2017.

Red Honda Accord stolen at around 3 p.m. on March 25, from Kaahumanu Center.

Burglaries were down 47%, with 8 incidents reported over the seven day period, down from the 15 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were up 23% from the week before when 13 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were up 37% when 8 break-ins were reported last week.

Of the 16 vehicles reported stolen, six have since been recovered.
