Mayor’s TV Show to Feature Small Business Highlights

The next edition of the Mayor’s one-hour live television show will feature small business highlights from Maui Economic Development Board’s Annette Lynch.

Lynch will discuss the first-ever Hawaiʻi Small Business Conference on Maui, being held May 3-4, 2017 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The conference is being co-presented by the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and MEDB.

Another County co-sponsored event, the 4th Annual “Startup Weekend Maui,” will also be featured. This dynamic event allows entrepreneurs to pitch their business idea, receive feedback and potentially launch their new business within 54 hours.

The show entitled, “Your County with Mayor Arakawa,” will be aired live on Akakū Channel 55 on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 7 p.m. and will be moderated by Managing Director Keith Regan.

The show will be rebroadcast the following Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 7 a.m. and on Sundays at 8 a.m. on the same channel.
