Tribal Seeds Live at the MACC, May 21
The award-winning reggae group Tribal Seeds returns to Hawaii on Sunday, May 21 at the Yokouchi Pavilion for a special show featuring special guest, Mike Love.
Originally started by two brothers, Steven Rene Jacobo (lyrics, vocals, guitar) and Tony-Ray Jacobo (producer), Tribal Seeds now boasts six members, including Victor Navarro (bass), Ryan Gonzo (guitar, vocals), Luis Castillo (keyboards, vocals), Danny Lopilato (keyboard, vocals), and Jamey “Zeb” Dekofsky (drums).
The group has debuted within the top five sports with all of their album releases and garnered iTunes “Best Of” in the Reggae genre for two years.
In 2011, Tribal Seeds gave listeners a brand new EP entitled, “Soundwaves” which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Reggae charts.
The band notes that the album was inspired by their life experiences, being on tour, and their desire to inspire youth to raise their voices and seek a higher consciousnesses.
Their fourth and latest album, “Representing,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae charts and contains 12 original recordings.
Tickets are $32 in advance and $40 the day of the show (plus applicable fees).
Gates will open at 6 p.m. The show will start at 7 p.m.
