Plan Your Route: Maui Lane Closures, May 1-5

The state Department of Transportation will conduct roadwork in Kahului and Haʻikū on Maui this week, resulting in alternating lane closures between Monday, May 1, and Friday, May 5, 2017.

In Haʻikū, road maintenance continues on the Hāna Highway, and will result in alternating lane closures between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keʻanae Road between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

In Kahului, sewer pipe installations will take place during the night on Waiehu Beach Road.  This will result in alternating lane closures between Nukuwai Place and Kahului Beach Road nightly between 6 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.

All projects are weather permitting and subject to change without further notice.  Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area and plan alternate routes accordingly.
