Lahainaluna Alumni Graduates from US Air Force Basic Training
US Air Force Airman Maybell R. Benito
US Air Force Airman Maybell R. Benito graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Benito completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Benito is the daughter of Aldrin and Janet Benito, granddaughter of Beatrice Rivera, and cousin of Robert Rivera Jr., all of Lahaina, Hawaiʻi. She is also the sister of Aljane Benito.
Benito is a 2016 graduate of Lahainaluna High School on Maui.
