Small Brush Fire Doused on Lower Kimo Drive, Kula

Maui firefighters doused a brush fire, reported to be 50 yards behind a residence on Lower Kimo Drive at round 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Kula and Makawao firefighters arrived on scene at 8:40 p.m. to find a 50 x 50 foot brush fire burning to the rear of the home. Crews quickly brought the fire under control and had it extinguished by 9:05 p.m.
The cause of the fire was undetermined.
There were no injuries and no structures were damaged.
