Maui Surf Forecast
North: Surf heights are expected to be knee/waist high today.
West: Surf heights are expected to be mainly ankle/thigh high today, some spots will be flat.
South: Surf heights are expected to be mainly ankle/thigh high today, some spots will be flat.
All shores should remain well below advisory level today. No significant south swells are expected through mid-month. A small new south-southwest shows Saturday and could hang around Sunday through early next week. Possibly a swell expected around the 17th, will keep an eye on the models.
Moderate trade swell for the east side.
In the short term, nothing much expected out of the north either. A very small (below waist high) northwest will show for some spots, peaking Friday and fading Saturday. Some models are indicating a possible swell around the 19th out of the northwest. Will keep an eye on it.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
