The Kamalani residential community in Kīhei has added 16 new residences to its active sales inventory, and is moving forward with construction plans for two additional buildings.
The move is in response to continued sales of 2- and 3-bedroom condominium flats and townhomes in the project’s first increment.
The project first opened up 4 dozen homes in the first phase for sale. Some earlier buyers are looking to move in to their new homes starting this fall.
The additional 16 condominium flats are being offered with prices starting at $315,000.
The project is located near the Piʻilani Highway and the Kaiwahine Street intersection, and is envisioned to encompass approximately 600 homes in three neighborhoods when complete.
Vertical construction of Kamalani’s first residences commenced earlier this year, with the first building scheduled for completion by this fall and several more by the end of the year. Two additional buildings have now been added to the construction schedule, and are anticipated to be finished by next spring.
Each home will include a private fenced yard; a full complement of major appliances; high-speed, broadband internet access; energy-saving features including gas energy; and steel frame construction.
“We’ve had a steady stream of interested buyers coming to see us at our weekly Open House or at our offices, and registering for more information via the KamalaniLiving.com website,” said Steve Baker, Realtor Broker of KW Island Living, project broker for Kamalani.
Kamalani offers an Open House every Sunday, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the community’s project site. Open House attendees must wear covered shoes and long pants in order to walk the site.
