Update: (2.22 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017)

The Piʻilani Hwy is now open at Mile 31 in Kaupō following maintenance work in the area.  The road was closed at around 10 a.m., and was reopened at 2:22 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017.

The Piʻilani Hwy is closed at Mile 31 in Kaupō due to maintenance work being done at this time. The closure went into effect at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017. County officials say the roadway should reopen late this afternoon.
