College and Job Fairs Planned at UH Maui College
UH Transfer and College Fair
The University of Hawaiʻi Transfer and College Fair is on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ka Lama Building Courtyard. Representatives from UH Mānoa, UH Hilo and UH West O‘ahu will join representatives from UH Maui College to help new, current and returning students transition seamlessly to a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
UH Maui College counselors and other program staff will respond to general inquiries about campus admission for those interested in college courses.
Those who are not able to attend the transfer fair on the Kahului campus may go to a UH Maui College Outreach Center in Hana, Lahaina, Lāna‘i or Molokai to attend an online Talk Story Session scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. Outreach center information is available on maui.hawaii.edu/outreach-centers.
The Talk Story Session will be broadcast from Room 105 of Ka‘a‘ike Building on the Kahului campus to outreach centers via Skybridge and will be streamed live on the UH Maui College Facebook page.
Representatives will answer questions about degree programs offered at different campuses, such as Applied Business & Information Technology, Sustainable Science Management, Engineering Technology, Education, Psychology, Business and Social Work, among others.
Students who received an invitation for Automatic Admission into a baccalaureate campus can speak with representatives about degree and housing options and scholarship opportunities.
University of Hawai‘i Center, Maui offers online and distance learning degrees, and provides local support services for communication among UH campuses. A complete list of degrees and certificates available via distance learning on Maui is available here.

Job Fair by CareerLink
CareerLink at UH Maui College will hold its annual Job Fair the following day, Sept. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Ka Lama Building Courtyard.The Job Fair is open to the public and attendees are advised to dress to impress and bring resumes to present to recruiters. Among those hiring include the County of Maui, hotels, restaurants and retail stores, nonprofit organizations and internship programs.

Like the Transfer and College Fair, the Job Fair aims to provide students and the public accessible resources that make college education attainable, with clear career paths available right here on Maui.
