Six Maritime Unions Endorse Senate Majority Leader J. Kalani English

Senate Majority Leader J. Kalani English was endorsed by the six maritime unions in Hawaiʻi: The International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots Maritime Union, Seafarers International Union, Marine Engineers Beneficial Association, Sailors Union of the Pacific, Marine Firemen’s Union and the Inlandboatmen’s Union of the Pacific.

“As the only Senator to represent four different islands, the maritime industry plays a vital role in the sustenance of rural communities in my district,” said Sen. English.

“I am extremely honored to receive the endorsement of these six unions because their members work tirelessly, behind the scenes, to ensure the delivery of goods all across the State,” he said.
