The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is accepting registrations for their fifth annual Maui Paddle for a Cure which takes place Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. along the Kā‘anapali Beach shoreline.

Maui Paddle for a Cure is a fun, non-competitive event that takes stand up, kayak and canoe paddlers along the Kā‘anapali Beach shoreline in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise funds for Susan G. Komen Hawai‘i. The event is presented in partnership with The Butterfly Effect and Maui Jim.

“Each year, we look forward to raising awareness and funds for Susan G. Komen Hawai‘i with the help of our community and partners who come together for Maui Paddle for a Cure,” said Fred Findlen, general manager at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. “Now in our fifth year of presenting this event, we have a goal of achieving $55,000 for the fight against breast cancer.”

Resort guests and the members of the Maui community 18 years and older are invited to an open paddle along Kā‘anapali Beach by stand up paddle board, kayak or canoe, all to benefit this important cause.
