Maui Green and Beautiful, a non-profit organization, is seeking volunteers to remove invasive Glycine vines in the Kula area.

The event will be held on Sunday, October 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Volunteers should meet at the lower parking lot of the Kula Post Office at 8:30 a.m. and are advised to bring their own gloves, water, close-toed shoes, and a sickle or other tool that can be used to remove vines.

Glycine vine (Neonotonia wightii) is an invasive vine to Hawai‘i that blankets structures, other plants, and trees.
