What’s Up Ha‘ikū? What’s in the Pipeline? Meeting, Nov. 28

The Haʻikū Community Association host its hast meeting of 2018 on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 at the Haʻikū Community.

The meeting runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.

The meeting theme is “What’s Up in Haʻikū? What’s in the Pipeline?” and will feature updates on local infrastructure and community projects from state and county officials and local community members.

Representatives from County Public Works, Maui Police and Fire departments, Department of Education and the newly elected County Council member for Haʻikū have all been invited to present updates and answer community questions.

Hāmākualoa Aha Moku Council will also offer updates and focus areas will be chosen for Haʻikū’s 2019 Community Mapping project.

HCA will also have a table of brand new Haʻikū logo wear for sale and sneak preview of the silent auction items that will be featured at the Dec. 4 HCA benefit nite at Flatbread Pizza in Pāʻia. Auction items include gift certificates from Mahina, Ultimate Air, Pāʻia Inn, Driftwood, Ella May Maui, Afterglow Yoga and more.

Flatbread Pizza is providing free pizza for attendees and other potluck pūpū are welcome. All that attend are asked to bring non-perishable food donations for the Maui Food Bank. For more about HCA activities go to haikumaui.org.
