Maui Graduation Season Begins: Full 2011 Schedule

This weekend, there are three graduation ceremonies planned on Maui. Ninety-three students at the University of Hawaii Center on Maui will receive degrees on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Maui Beach Hotel Elleair Ballroom. Then on Sunday, 345 candidates receive degrees from the University of Hawaii Maui College at a 1 p.m. ceremony at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Also on Sunday, seven students with the Kula Kaiapuni o Maui , Hawaiian Language Immersion Program graduate in a noon ceremony at the King Kekaulike Gym in Pukalani.

Next week, seniors from King Kekaulike High School will graduate on Thursday May 19th at 6 p.m. at the school stadium. On Friday, May 20, Baldwin High School Seniors graduate at a 6 p.m. ceremony at War Memorial Stadium. On Saturday, May 21st, there’s four ceremonies: Lanai, Hana, Molokai and Maui High. And on Sunday, May 22nd, students from Lahainaluna will attend their commencement at 5:30 p.m. at Boarders’ Field.

Other graduation ceremonies include a May 25th commencement for students at the Maui Community Schools for Adults, and a May 28th ceremony for students at Kihei Charter School.
