One More Inch of Snow at Haleakalā Today

A winter weather advisory has replaced a storm warning for Haleakalā on Maui.
The advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. today as a cold upper low over the eastern half of the state continues to bring wintery weather conditions to the summit, according to the National Weather Service.
Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch is forecast over Haleakalā today.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service say conditions include zero visibility at times and slick icy roads. The summit area remains closed until further notice.
