Maui Electric Emergency Repairs at ʻĪao Valley Road This Evening

Maui Electric will perform emergency repair work that will require a road closure this evening, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., at the cross-section of ʻĪao Valley Road and Alu Road, near the turn into ʻĪao Valley.

Motorists should expect traffic delays in this immediate area during this time. Should an emergency arise, emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the area.

To safely complete these repairs, an interruption to power will impact customers in the Wailuku area on the following roads: Aliʿi Drive, ʻĪao Valley Road, Ua Place, W. Alu Road, S. Alu Road, Ekoa Place, Palani Place, Main Street, S. Church Street, S. Market Street, Mokuhau Road, Nenea Street, Kahawai Street, Makua Street, Piʿihana Road, Liko Place, N. Church Street, Pakahi Street, Palua Street, Pakolu Street, Ilina Street, Holowai Place, W. Vineyard Street, N. Market Street, Olu Drive, Pule Place, Lewa Place, Alani Place, Hoʿomalu Place, Konahea Street, Hanalei Place, Alani Place, Alaheʿe Drive, Lani Place, Puʿuhala Road, Hewahewa Drive, Ihumai Place, Maoi Street and parts of Hinano Street.
