Mystery Maui Celebrates First Anniversary

In celebration of its first full year of business, the Mystery Maui Escape Room will be offering discounts on their social media pages throughout the month of March.

Mystery Maui owners Deron and Kit Furukawa said the concept of escape rooms originated from video games in Japan around 2008 before spreading worldwide.

“About 90% of our customers, both locals and visitors, are first-time players,” Kit Furukawa said. “All ages enjoy the games, especially because groups are given the opportunity to showcase teamwork in finding clues and solving puzzles.”
