Gabbard Makes First Official Visit to Pennsylvania as Presidential Candidate
Tulsi Gabbard will be making her first official visit to Pennsylvania as a candidate for president.
During her visit, Gabbard will host a public meet and greet at Love City Brewing Company in Philadelphia, where she will share her vision for the country and a message of “peace, aloha and service above self.”
Tulsi Gabbard is a Democrat who officially announced her candidacy for President of the United States and kicked off her campaign on Feb. 2, 2019 in Hawaiʻi.
She was first elected to Congress in 2012 to represent Hawaiʻi’s Second Congressional District. She has served on the Homeland Security and Foreign Affairs Committees in Congress, and is currently a member of the House Armed Services and Financial Services Committees.
Tulsi Gabbard has served in the Army National Guard for nearly 15 years, deployed twice to the Middle East, and is one of the first female combat veterans elected to Congress. She continues to serve as a Major in the Army National Guard.
Tulsi Gabbard was Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee from 2013 until she resigned in 2016 to endorse Bernie Sanders in his bid for President.
