Gilbert & Associates Welcomes New Account Executive

Gilbert & Associates is welcoming Mehana Lee as its newest account executive, the agency announced yesterday. For nearly 50 years, the Maui based agency has helped companies across the state, and on the mainland, with advertising, public relations, design, and production. Lee previously worked for the agency as a part-time social media strategist.

“We are excited to see our team grow with awesome talent like Mehana,” Gilbert & Associates Owner Larry Gilbert said. “Her passion for writing, love for creativity, and go-getter attitude make her a great addition to our core team of ten professionals.”

In her new position, Lee will take the lead on managing clients and facilitating their marketing, advertising, and social media needs. She will also assist Strategic Communications and Marketing Executive Ann Nicol on shared accounts and projects.

A Maui native, Mehana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic and Corporate Communication Studies from Chapman University and is an alumna of Kamehameha Schools Maui.

“I couldn’t be happier with my responsibilities here at Gilbert & Associates,” Lee said. “Not even in my wildest dreams would I imagine that I’d have the opportunity to return home to Maui while pursuing a marketing career. I am truly excited for the opportunity!”
