Siren Testing Today Near Lahaina Cannery Mall

The Hawaiʻi Emergency Management Agency will be performing maintenance this morning on the siren near the Lahaina Cannery Mall in West Maui.
The public in the area may hear short bursts of sound from the siren, while maintenance personnel are “burping” the siren to test the status of the sirens motor.
The testing was expected to start at around 10:30 a.m., and continue until complete.
