Update: (7:45 a.m. 6.6.19) Molokaʻi Flood Advisory Cancelled

As of 7:45 a.m., the National Weather Service has cancelled the Flood Advisory that was in effect for the island of Molokaʻi. Weather radar showed that the heavy rain has ended.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for Molokaʻi in effect until 8 a.m. today.

At around 5 a.m., radar indicated heavy rain over the west half of the island. Rain was falling at a rate of an inch per hour. The area of heavy rain is spreading east.

A Flood Advisory means that nuisance flooding is occurring or imminent.
