Nā Hōkū Hanohano honorees Kevin Brown and `Ioane Keana`aina, and the Leo Kani band headline Saturday’s Kēōkea Ho`olaule`a on July 13, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The annual event, coupled with Da Taste of Kēōkea culinary fest, runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13 at the Kēōkea Marketplace at Mile Marker 17 of Kula Highway.

Admission is $5 per person, free for keiki 12 and younger, or $20 for a family of four or more.

Kikila Hugho, a former Hokule`a crew member and Ki Ho`alu Festival slack key-guitar stylist, performs 4 p.m. Saturday at the Keokea Ho`olaule`a. PC: Keokea Ho`olaule`a.

The entertainment schedule is as follows:

  • Kane Kēōkea at 10 a.m.
  • Kevin Brown at 11 a.m.
  • Aaron Booth at 12 p.m.
  • Leo Kani at 1 p.m.
  • `Ioane Keana`aina at 2 p.m.
  • Harrison Moku at 3 p.m.
  • Kikila Hugho and friends at 4 p.m.

Da Taste of Kēōkea offerings include Aunty Pikake’s patele stew and Pococks’ Hawaiian fare. Also on the menu are Filipino dinuguan, pork and peas, and Maui Style Market beef stew and Samoan specialties.
