Mill Street Pavement Preservation in Wailuku, Aug. 1

A roadway improvement project will result in the closure of a single lane of traffic on Mill Street in Wailuku from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019.

The announcement was made by the County of Maui Department of Public Works.

Department officials say work will take place on a segment of Mill Street between its intersection with Mission to Imi Kala streets. Traffic will flow west-bound (toward Happy Valley) only. East-bound traffic (toward Kahului) will be detoured onto Kaniela Street.

Motorists are advised to expect delays.

The department pavement preservation project is for a single day only.
